Nobody walks into a building they think is falling apart. Chalky panels, hail-dimpled steel and a sun-bleached south wall tell a customer something about how you run the place, fairly or not — and on a storefront that’s the cheapest marketing problem you’ll ever get to fix.

The other half of this is energy. A lot of the shops and ag buildings out here are uninsulated steel hung on purlins in the seventies, and the wall is where the heat goes. Re-skinning with an insulated panel is often the single biggest change you can make to a heating bill.

What a commercial siding assessment covers

Free, and the report is yours whether or not you hire us.

  • Wall and substrate survey

What’s behind the panel matters more than the panel. We check girts, purlins, sheathing and framing for rot, rust and fastener pull-out before anyone quotes a skin.

  • Profile identification

Older buildings wear profiles nobody makes any more. We identify what’s up there and tell you honestly whether it can be matched for a partial repair or whether the wall has to go as a unit.

  • Insulation and vapor review

R-value as it stands, and what an insulated panel would actually buy you. In this climate the vapor detail is what decides whether a wall sweats inside the assembly.

  • Hail and wind documentation

Photographed and measured to the standard a commercial adjuster expects, because dented wall panel is claimable and routinely gets missed.

  • Flashing, trim and openings

Base trim, jambs, headers and every door and window opening. Commercial siding fails at the openings, not in the field.

  • Phasing plan

Elevation by elevation where budget or operations require it, so one wall gets done without the whole building being a job site.

Your options

Systems we install

What’s right depends on the building, how long you plan to hold it, and whether the wall needs to work harder than it looks.

Insulated metal panel (IMP)

Best for heating bills

Steel skin, foam core, structural in one piece. R-7 to R-8 per inch, a finished interior face, and the fastest way to turn an uninsulated shop into a building you can afford to heat. Highest up-front cost, and usually the one that pays back.

Exposed-fastener metal panel

Most common

The workhorse on shops, ag and equipment buildings. R-panel and similar profiles, 40-year paint systems, and a cost per square foot nothing else touches. Fasteners are the maintenance item — they get re-torqued, not ignored.

Concealed-fastener wall panel

Best looking

Flat, seam-and-reveal panel with no fastener heads showing. What you want on a storefront or an office elevation where the building is meant to look considered rather than functional.

Fiber cement and LP SmartSide

For commercial that should read as warm rather than industrial — clinics, offices, churches, multi-unit. The same systems we install residentially, at commercial scale and thickness.

How it goes

Start to finish, with nobody chasing you

  1. 1

    Site visit and survey

We walk every elevation, photograph it, and pull a panel where we need to see what’s behind it.

  2. 2

    Options with numbers

Repair, partial re-skin or full replacement, each with a cost and an honest service-life figure.

  3. 3

    Scheduling around you

Phased by elevation, after hours or weekends where the operation needs it. Access and parking squared away before day one.

  4. 4

    Install

One elevation at a time, the building weather-tight every night, entrances kept clear and usable.

  5. 5

    Close-out

Warranty paperwork, touch-up paint for the profile, and a magnet sweep of the lot.

Before the quote

We pull a panel and look behind it

What is behind the wall decides the job. Girts, purlins, rust and fastener pull-out get checked before anyone prices a new skin.

Then you get three numbers — repair, partial re-skin, full replacement — instead of one quote for the most expensive path.

Straight answers

Commercial Siding — straight answers

If the question you have isn’t here, call the number on this page and ask. You’ll get a person who has been on a roof this week.

Can you match the panel on an older building?

Often, but not always — profiles get discontinued and colors drift as they weather. We identify what you have and tell you straight whether a patch will read as a patch. Sometimes re-skinning one full elevation looks better and costs less than chasing a match across three.

Do we have to close while you work?

No. We phase commercial siding by elevation and keep entrances and access open. Tell us what can’t be interrupted and the schedule gets built around it.

Is hail damage to wall panel claimable?

Yes, and it gets missed constantly because adjusters look up at the roof and not sideways at the walls. Dented and dimpled wall steel is documentable damage. We photograph it to the standard a commercial adjuster expects.

Will new siding actually cut our heating bill?

If you’re going from uninsulated steel to an insulated metal panel, yes, and noticeably — those walls are where most of the heat in an older shop leaves. If your walls are already insulated, new siding is about looks and water, not energy, and we’ll tell you that rather than sell you a payback that isn’t there.

Do you do ag and equipment buildings?

A large part of what we do. Pole buildings, machine sheds, shops and grain facilities — wall steel replacement, partial re-skins and storm repair.

Gary and his team were prompt and friendly. Gary reviewed our storm damage - he is knowledgeable and honest. His team did a great job and left our property clean. I recommend Gary and Radiant Roofing and Siding - in fact, I recommended him to my neighbors.

I highly recommend these guys! They did two complete exterior remodels for me (siding, roof, soffit, gutters) on a couple of older houses and made them look brand new. They were available to start within a reasonable timeframe and got these big jobs done within a week. Gunner is great to work with and keeps you in the loop along the way. They’re now my first call for our exterior house projects.

Troy did an excellent job during our roof and siding inspection. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. We truly appreciated his help as new home owners. What stood out most was how communicative he was throughout the process and how well everything was organized and explained. We’re very happy with the experience we had with Radiant Roofing & Solutions.
