Privacy policy

Build note. This is a working draft covering what the site actually does. It hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer, and the highlighted items need the client’s input before launch.

What we collect

When you request an estimate we collect the name, phone number, property address and — if you give it — email address you type into the form, along with the service and timing you selected.

We also collect standard analytics through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you’re, what device you used, and which calls-to-action you clicked. We record when someone taps a phone number so we know which pages generate calls.

Why we collect it

To quote your job and call you back. That’s the whole purpose. Your details are routed to whichever owner covers your town so the right person rings you.

Who we share it with

• Nobody who will sell it. We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t pass it to lead-generation networks.
• Our own staff — the owner covering your territory and the crew scheduling the work.
• Service providers who help run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection), Google (analytics), Roofle (the optional instant roof-quote tool), and our email provider.
• Your insurance company — only if you’re running a claim and ask us to.

The instant roof quote

If you choose the optional instant-quote step, your property address is passed to Roofle, which measures your roof from aerial imagery and returns pricing. That step is entirely optional and only ever offered after you have already requested an estimate. Roofle handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

We store your chosen town in your browser’s local storage so the site shows you the right phone number on your next visit. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. Google Analytics sets its own cookies; you can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.

If you allow it, we use your browser’s location to work out which of our offices is nearest. We never store the coordinates — only the town name that results.

How long we keep it

Needs client input: how long lead records are retained in the inbox or CRM.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call any of the numbers on this site and say so. We won’t make it difficult.

Children

This site is for homeowners and property owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
